How to accept Christ into your life
The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
We believe there is an inherent power in the Word of God in that the Holy Spirit not only inspired the written Word of God but is the teacher and guide of its applicability into a persons life. The Spirit of the Lord liberates a person from the trappings of a the life that is seperated from it’s creator so that one can truly know God relationally.
Since the original documentary concerning man (Adam and Eve), man has lost his rightful position in relationship to God. Romans 3:23 says that, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and the result of that sin is death (death of a relational, spiritual kind). However, in John 6 Jesus says the words that he speaks to us are Spirit and Life. It goes on to say that these words quicken us.
Jesus also professes that no one can come to him unless the Father draws that person. We believe that drawing to be the working of God’s Spirit on a persons life – drawing, quickening, convicting us of our sin and showing us our need for His mercy and grace.
