Exuberant Joy

by:Wes Tuten

I keep hearing "refresh" from God!
I'm seeing all of you as you labor in the Kingdom, endeavoring to live as Christ,
to live out the word of our God, so I want to declare Holy Spirit's refreshing
over every one of you (us!) today! Like water poured out over a plant that's
begun to wilt or ground that's a little too dry, may you be refreshed and
renewed today by His love and everlasting joy! You are on His mind and heart. He's delighting in you, beloved child! He's anointed you with His presence to live today in exuberant joy!

What people are saying

Just so overcome with gratitude with what we have at NHG. I am thankful for the safe place, where I know that I am accepted for who Christ is working me to be. NHG is a place where I am loved with my flaws and where others desire to come alongside me to help iron them out together, without condemnation.

Oneness: The Miracle in the Church

./about/28/what-on-earth-are-we-here-for “The congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul…” Acts 4:32 This is the description of the Church when it’s first born, perhaps just days or weeks after Jesus ascended and the Spirit arrived.  It was the infant Church, and already the people of God were being joined together.  God’s supernatural work of establishing real, covenanted relationships had already begun.  It was not a step on the way to the Church becoming or achieving something; they had from the start everything they were supposed to be.

The gospel of the Kingdom

When John the Baptist came preparing the way for our Lord he came saying, "repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"

When Jesus came his first declaration was, "the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel."

This gospel was the gospel of the Kingdom.

“If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed.”

Jesus has done everything to give us freedom - freedom from sin, freedom from death, freedom to live, freedom to love.  Just as He lived unbound in the world, freely doing all that He saw the Father doing, He wants that also for us.

Only the Holy Spirit - the life of Christ in us - allows believers to live this way.  Because our freedom proves His victory, the enemy works against this in every way he can.  He cannot take away our freedom, but he’ll do everything to convince us we’re tied to something or bound by something.  Jesus tells us to put down what we carry and to pick up what is His and go with Him, to walk with Him in freedom (Luke 9:23; Matthew 11:28-30).  We have to do this constantly, daily.

Sean Quental

Sean Quental is a minister with a message of restoration for the heart, mind and soul. His Bible-based teaching on the mind, body and spirit connection considers physical, emotional and spiritual health. His ministry focus is to show people how to live in relationship with God and ultimately find peace and bring health and wholeness to the body of Christ.

New Heart received so much insight from this conference into the renewing of the mind. There is no restoration without transformation and transformation begins with the renewing of the mind. New Heart has received much more than we ever expected from Sean's teachings and our minds are being renewed daily since his coming.

Dysfunctional thinking is diminishing and truth is overtaking the lies.

Praying for the Cookes in New Bern

Having been a part of sending Mark and Jane Cooke to New Bern NC, we want to continue to keep them in prayer. They are a special gift to the body of Christ and are in the process of establishing a re-work. They are taking an old Anglican building and doing a re-start with it.

Continue to keep them lifted up as they develop a new ministry team and help those walking through the leaving behind things of the past and pressing on to what lies ahead.

They have found a great home to rent and are plowing new ground into the city there, making connections with other ministries and edifying the body for the Lord's work in that region.

How to accept Christ into your life

The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

We believe there is an inherent power in the Word of God in that the Holy Spirit not only inspired the written Word of God but is the teacher and guide of its applicability into a persons life. The Spirit of the Lord liberates a person from the trappings of a the life that is seperated from it’s creator so that one can truly know God relationally.
